North Carolina A&T State University Alumni Assoc.
The North Carolina A&T State University Alumni Association, Inc. is an independent non-profit corporation, incorporated under the General Statues of the State of North Carolina. The association was chartered by the State of North Carolina in 1954 and subsequently achieved tax- exempt status as a federal 501(c)(3) corporation. Since its founding, the Association has made a commitment to support the University in any way needed to guarantee its existence as a viable, historically black public university.


Linda Lorelle Scholarship Fund
The mission of the Linda Lorelle Scholarship Fund is to provide scholarships and guidance to Houston area high school students in need of financial assistance, whose potential may be unfulfilled due to circumstances beyond their control. "Profiles in Pride" - Sponsored by Walmart and Kraft

Sunday Brunch, was one of only six novels featured in "Profiles in Pride" a publication sponsored Walmart/Kraft that was distributed nationwide to all Walmart stores. ; The booklet was a special publication for Black History Month - 2005 and its theme was "Inspiring Change and Leaving a Legacy." Along with profiles of African-Americans such as Madame C. J. Walker, Patti Labelle, Maynard Jackson, Norma Jarrett's novel, Sunday Brunch, was included in a section entitled, The Power of Reading. Sunday Brunch was also a selected item for Walmart's on-line Black History Month promotion as well.
