"Profiles in Pride" - Sponsored by Walmart and Kraft

Sunday Brunch, was one of only six novels featured in "Profiles in Pride" a publication sponsored Walmart/Kraft that was distributed nationwide to all Walmart stores. ; The booklet was a special publication for Black History Month - 2005 and its theme was "Inspiring Change and Leaving a Legacy." Along with profiles of African-Americans such as Madame C. J. Walker, Patti Labelle, Maynard Jackson, Norma Jarrett's novel, Sunday Brunch, was included in a section entitled, The Power of Reading. Sunday Brunch was also a selected item for Walmart's on-line Black History Month promotion as well.
